Dear Resident,
Re: Court Way Car Park, Court Way, Barkingside
We are aware that a number of residents have expressed concerns regarding Anti-Social Behaviour in the car park at Court Way, Barkingside. We are working with our partners at The London Borough of Redbridge Council with a view to installing a Temporary Fixed Deployed Camera at the location. An application has been made but requires additional information and locally sourced intelligence to proceed. This is a process that requires local funding and legal justification. At present, we are some way short and the application process has been put on hold to allow us an opportunity to collate the required information. In order to proceed, we need your support. Therefore, we ask that all incidents of Anti-Social Behaviour are reported – either by email – sntji-.aldborough@met.police.uk, via 101 or online at www.met.police.uk (using the ‘Report’ button). Alternatively, please speak to your warden/management team and ask them to forward any details to us.
If you make a report, please try to provide the following;
Details of any vehicles (Make, model – if known, colour, shape, size of vehicle – hatchback, SUV, estate etc.).
Details of any people seen (Gender, ethnicity, age and any distinguishing features)Time, day. Describe the behaviour (in as best detail as possible).
Please do not place yourself in any danger to obtain any of these details.
Any information provided will be treated with the strictest confidence.
We will continue to conduct patrols in the area (where possible) and will continue to work with our partners to proactively deal with (and prevent) Anti-Social Behaviour in the area.
In the event that you require additional support, or have additional needs; please let us know. We appreciate that Anti-Social Behaviour can have a differing impact on individuals and this type of behaviour may have impacted your physical/ mental health, sleep and overall quality of life – so if you have any concerns regarding any of these; please get in touch and will we work to identify the correct support systems for you.
Your support is much appreciated and we hope to hear from you soon.
Regards,
Aldborough Safer Neighbourhoods’ Team
